What is a Hot Runner Temperature Controller?


A hot runner temperature controller is an electronic device specifically designed for use in injection molds equipped with hot runner systems. It precisely controls the temperature of each heating zone to ensure that the molten plastic remains at a consistent temperature during flow. This prevents issues such as material degradation, product defects, and color inconsistency.

 

How does the Hot Runner Temperature Controller Work in a Hot Runner System?

The temperature controller monitors and adjusts the temperature of each heating point in real time, enabling efficient, stable, and precise molding.


Temperature Sensing

Each heating point in the hot runner system is equipped with a thermocouple that detects the current temperature and sends an electrical signal back to the controller.
Common thermocouple types include K-type and J-type.
